It was Thursday night, nice day to go out and have fun. Yeah, we really wanted to have fun. We have planned to go for a movie in Johor Bharu, a horror movie entitled ‘Congkak’ (a Malay traditional game). We went there in two batches. The first batch has departed late in the evening and the second batch in the early night, almost . I was in the second batch, along with Kam, Muse, Hellme and Majeed. The first batch has arrived at the cinema while we’re still in our way, and searching for the shopping complex, since none of us (the second batch) has been to the complex.
I still remember, we were laughed about a spooky place that we have came through, at that time. A few minutes later, we saw a four-junction traffic light in front of us. There was no car in front of us, and our light was green before we reached the traffic light. So we just drove away, without never knew that that particular traffic light is our last traffic light to the movie…
Our car crashed onto another car which was coming from our left road. That was NOT his turn. It was OUR turn. So our car have made a ‘nice’ 180 degrees drift, to the opposite road. It was as if we were headed to the place we were before. We were so shocked. That crash only took a glimpse to finish, and when I realized, I’ve lost my sight! Oh my God!
Okay, not all of my sight, just half of it, because my eyeglasses was lost, so I just got a blurry vision. But still, I was so panicked! Because that glasses is RayBan™ worth of RM600+! I thought my mom was gonna kill me! And I only have that particular glasses, no spare. After I looked for it in the car for a few minutes, I just leave the car. I know, if it lost, it would still inside the car, because we didn’t opened any windows, and only the front-left window was smashed. And also because, I saw some liquid dropped from the engine. Oh no, don’t say the car’s gonna blow! So I quickly ran away from the car.
Then, I started to think about the car. And the car’s front was so devastated. The front-left tyre has twisted, the hood was folded, as if like it was folded by a giant hand, and other damages. Wait. How about the other car? That car got smacked on the driver’s door, and that crush made it flew to hit a traffic light, made that traffic light ‘condong’ a little bit. The driver couldn’t got out of the car, since his door has been badly smacked.
Just after the crash, Kam yelled “Lampu merah!!!!” (It was red light!!!). And my brave friend, Hellme quickly got out of our car and according to him; his angriness was so…uncontrollable, he really wanna punch that guy. Luckily, due to the smacked door, he couldn’t opened the door, and just left that guy in the car.
Well, we all made it. We all still alive, only suffer a few injuries. Kam got blooded injury on his hand. Haha…he really need ‘Bloodline’ at that time. I only have little scratch on my forehead and finger.
After the crush, I started to feel miserable. The traumatic feeling attacked me. I didn’t know what to do, just sit at the nearest fence near the crash site. And we got lotsa people asking what happen, how happen, who’s guilty and so forth. We just told them the story. Waaa….Malaysian citizen is not bad after all. And we found a nice brother, his name is Zack, he waited for us at the crash site, told us what to do, and then sent us to the police station, waited for us again there. Then we told him to just go, and we thanked him for giving us a lot of helps. We gave him a RM50 note, but he refused. What a nice guy….
Wonder what happen to my glasses?
The glasses was safe and sound in the car. Kam found it at the back mirror. How come it can slip out from my head and flew to the backside? Huh…I have no idea. I then know, God was testing me. I felt so happy, I prayed a lot after I found it.
The cars were towed to the nearest Traffic Police Station. Muse made a police report there, since it’s his car. Then he settled with the other driver, the stupid guy I’ve told you earlier. And then I went home with Muse and was sent by his father’s friends, who are a nice couple, Uncle Osman and Aunty Mastura. What a great couple they are. They treated us a supper, and kindly sent us. The others went home with another kind guys, friends of Kam’s parents, police officers. One of them is Sub-Inspector Yunus. I was told that they treated them too. Wow….Where can you find such a friendly people nowadays? It’s hard, you know.
In total, we have met five nice people in a single night. How’s that? Where can you find these people? Here, in Johor Bahru. But don’t make yourself crash or something just to meet these peoples. That’s a stupid thing to do. And please, when you’re in the traffic light area, always be careful. Sometimes peoples are too selfish, they only want to keep the road for themselves. I hope this can be a lesson for you all. I thought my soul has already in an envelope to be posted to God. But clearly, it wasn’t my time. And I pray to God for His Gracious and Merciful, and let us have our life again, to devote our hearts to Him. Praise be to God. Amin.
If you have anything to ask, just ask me! And you can also share your experience been a car accident victim, or any life-threatening situations. I’ll always appreciate your comments and experiences. Till next time, bye-bye…
